Can you keep driving?
If the car still has power and the engine sounds normal, drive to a workshop with care. If the light flashes or the engine runs rough, stop somewhere safe.
A few checks
Fuel cap on tight, fluids looking normal, no strong smells. Note when the light came on, for example after filling up or on a cold start.
